Dollie & Me playtime wouldn’t be complete without easy and fun hairstyles to keep your dollie’s look feeling fresh! Plus, all of these hairstyles are perfect to do on your own hair too. Start each hairstyle with your dollie’s hair brushed smooth of any knots that could get in the way while you work. And don’t worry if it doesn’t turn out how you want it to the first time, just try again!
You’ll Need:
- A hairbrush
- Small hair elastics
- Hair clips (optional)
Easy
Part your dollie’s hair down the middle of her head so that there’s an even amount of hair on either side. Then take a small section of hair near the front of her head and use a hair elastic to tie it back. Do the same to the other side and add any desired hair clips on top of the hair ties!
Medium
Part your dollie’s hair down the middle of her head so that there’s an even amount of hair on either side. Then use hair elastics to pull both sides up into pigtails, but as you pull the hair through the elastic on the last turn, leave the end of the hair stuck in the elastic so the rest hangs down in a loop. Add any desired clips to the tops of the loops for extra fun style!
Hard
Part your dollie’s hair down the middle of her head so that there’s an even amount of hair on either side. Then use hair elastics to pull both sides into ponytails. Make sure both ponytails are tight and then separate each ponytail into three even sections of hair. One side at a time, fold the outer sections over top of the middle section. Continue this all the way down the strands and then tie off the ends with more hair elastics.
(With parents permission) send us a picture of you trying out any of these hairstyles on your dollie to be featured on our page! We can’t wait to see what you create!
